Regular reader Erik Tiernan was up late last night and caught the update on the mothership as it happened, shooting over the link to GDC early this morning:

http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/feature/218b

Note that MTGCommander.net will be getting some more spoilers tomorrow night (midnight EST Wednesday, 10/24) per the article, and the rest will be revealed back on the mothership Thursday.

THE CURRENT LIST:

OVERSIZED-
*Azuza, Lost But Seeking
*Grimgrin, Corpse-Born
*Mayael the Anima
*Sliver Queen

REGULAR-
*Sylvan Library (new art)
*The Mimeoplasm
*Dragonlair Spider
*Duplicant (new art)
*Command Tower (new art)
*Chaos Warp
*Loyal Retainers

In addition, the poster on MTGSalvation.com (Username – “Kaalia”) seemed to be pretty spot-on in what s/he listed.  Now, a new user (“Kirito”) is claiming a full list as well that seems to fit in with everything else at the moment (again – Unsubstantiated at this point, so the usual “take with grain of salt” rules apply…):

-Chaos Warp
-Command Tower
-Decree of Pain
-Desertion
-Diaochan, Artful Beauty
-Dragonlair Spider
-Duplicant
-Edric, Spymaster of Trest
-Kaalia of the Vast
-Loyal Retainers
-Maelstrom Wanderer
-Mind’s Eye
-Mirari’s Wake
-Rhystic Study
-Scroll Rack
-Sylvan Library
-The Mimeoplasm
-Vela the Night-Clad

There are some interesting additions in there if this is legitimate.  Mirari’s Wake, Mind’s Eye and Rhystic Study make perfect sense, and while I’m a little surprised, Desertion doesn’t seem completely out of the realm of possibility.  My concerns on Scroll Rack are that it may add to Loyal Retainers in pushing this set further onto the Eternal-format player radar, but we’ll have to wait and see how things actually play out.  Diaochan is a head-scratcher, but it is a rare general never printed in foil before, so there is that.  StarCityGames is currently sold out of her at $60, so the value-add is there if this is true.

If it wasn’t confirmed by WotC, Dragonlair Spider would be a question-mark for me.  I don’t see the point in foiling a card that has barely even scratched EDH play at this point, when they could have used the slot for foiling general options; even an extremely-underplayed legendary choice (which is also where I would also categorize Vela) is a better foil option, as generals will usually be the first card that players will look for a premium version of.

Anyway, stay tuned over the next few days to see how things actually play out.
