Hello all,

I just wanted to drop in and let you guys know that this is a short week at GDC; it turns out that daycare facilities tend to:

A) Keep tons of drooling infants (mine included) all in the same enclosed place and handling (read: eating) all of the same toys/shoes/random plastic bags/whatever they can get their hands on at the same time.  This leads to

B) Viral infections (Yay!), fevers (Yay x2!), ear infections (All your Yay! are belong to us…), and multiple visits to the doctor’s office (), coupled with multiple sleepless nights (YayzzZZzzzzZzzz…) and missed work days that count against vacation accrual.  (Wait…what?)

So on the seventh fourth Thursday whatever damn day this is, your humble author rests.  Until the baby wakes up again, anyway.

SAVING FOR YOUR SON’S COLLEGE AND CAUSING YOUR WIFE TO ROLL HER EYES AT THE SAME TIME

I’d feel terrible if I left you guys totally empty-handed.  My son turns eight months old next week; I think I mentioned this at some point, but here’s a picture of a trade binder I started for him:

My wife thought I was an idiot for calling this a ‘college fund’, until I showed her the book value on Force Of Will.  Turns out that’s a damn-good way to get a trade allowance…

See you guys on Monday, when we’ll figure out what direction the Community Sharuum Project is going to go.  (There’s still time to head over here and post your vote in the comments!)

Have a great weekend, everyone!
